| Happy New Year! And welcome to 2023 - and on Sunday, we welcome the Chinese lunar new year: 'Year of the Rabbit.' We hope you have all entered this year in good health and spirit and are ready to take on this year in full force.
Thanks to the members who have already renewed their Membership for 2023. We have the first board meeting of the year tonight, and in our February Newsletter, we will share the plans for the Danish Chamber in 2023, so you can mark your calendars. On February 16th, we have Dinner & Wine Tasting - we hope to see many of you there.

Visit from the Royal Consulate General in Guangzhou |
| On December 20th, Danish consul: Mrs. Eva Szeftel was able to visit Hong Kong as she made her journey back to Denmark. Her visit was welcomed by 9 Danes, who could renew and extend their passports at the Euro Office in Central.

Visit from the Danish Trade Council in China - Morten Kruse |
| On January 11th, C-suite representatives from our corporate members were invited to meet Morten Kruse, Minister Counsellor, Head of Trade - Trade Council China, as he was visiting from Beijing.
It was a pleasant exchange of the latest news and updates from Hong Kong and China and we are looking forward to working closely with the Trade Council in China to further develop a Danish business footprint in Hong Kong. |

Thomas shared a fully integrated retail POS payment system with all mainstream payment gateways (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) that connect directly to the customer's bank account via a portable device, offered to retail partners banking with Bank of China.
