Greetings from the Chairman |

Welcome to May!
Temperatures are rising, humidity increasing - Hong Kong summer is on it's way!
Restrictions have eased, kids are back in school and we hope that the caseload will remain low and manageable for the quarantaine hospitals, so the scheduled review this month will bring further relaxations and Hong Kong can start buzzing again.
For those traveling back to Hong Kong from Denmark, we have some good news: you can now use the PCR tests from "TestCenter Denmark" in combination with the updated government certification statement. Several people have already verified that it works! Another positive update is that non-residents are also allowed to travel into the city from today onwards. We have pro-actively, with our colleagues from other national chambers, addressed which relaxations we would like to see as a next step towards opening up the city again. Will share the letter in due course.
And last - but not the least, we are excited to announce that we will have our first afterwork cocktail of the year - see details below. As soon as we know regulations for junks - we will also announce the details for our annual Mid Summer Junk Trip co-hosted with the Danish Seamen's Church. Last year we sent 4 junks to sea - we hope to repeat the success. It was such a great event. Tentatively save the date: 25. June 2022.
With that - wish you all a great month of May!
Yours, Anita Chairman anita@dcc.hk

Inbound travel to Hong Kong from Denmark |
| Travelling these days is a good source of anxiety and stress and we hope that this one-pager with all you need to know travelling to Hong Kong from Denmark can alleviate some of that.
The Danish Foreign Ministry have just updated the Government Declaration to certify the PCR tests obtained by TestCenter Denmark is valid for travel. That should make it easier to get a recognized PCR test done at one of the 104 centres across Denmark.
