Greetings from the Chairman
Greetings from the Chairman
Dear All,

I hope that this mail finds you in good health and spirit and that you are looking forward to the upcoming Easter Holidays.
It has been a couple of busy weeks in the Chamber. We held our Annual General Meeting last week and this week we have constituted the board of directors for the next term.

We are very eager to kick off our events for the Danish Community and friends as soon as it will be possible. Since last year we have grown our member base by 40% and are very grateful for that - so we hope to see a lot of people at our staple events: Afterwork Cocktails, Midsummer Junk, Horse Race Event and Christmas Party. You can always get on our website and see what we are up to in the event calendar. For now - we wait....

Also on the calendar already: is a lot of interesting webinars. We partner with the 'Danish Chinese Business Forum' in Denmark and the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China to line up a webinar program every quarter. See the upcoming webinars below or in the event calendar.

From a business perspective, we are very happy to see the restrictions easing starting today: no flight bans and reducing the hotel quarantaine period to 7 days. Using rapid tests has already become a new normal and we are hopeful that self-monitoring using this tool will be the next relaxation of the restrictions: striking a balance between conducting business and mitigating the risk of the virus.

Lastly, we are sad to say goodbye to our office manager Belinda who has done an outstanding job for the Chamber the past 8 months. That also means that the job as office manager is vacant, so if you know someone who would work for the Danish Chamber in a part-time position, please let us know.

I wish You and your family a Happy Easter.

Yours,
Anita

Office Manager - Goodbye!
Office Manager - Goodbye!
It has been an absolute pleasure to serve the DCC community for the past 8 months, and I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting many of you. Whilst it hasn't been possible to host any face to face events in 2022, I look back on a very busy 2nd half of 2021 where we had some amazing events. The future looks bright, and I am sure we will have the opportunity to meet at some of the upcoming DCC events.

My final day is 31 March. I appreciate all our interactions and your kind support.

Take care!

Belinda

Are you our new Office Manager?
Are you our new Office Manager?
The Danish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is seeking a part-time office manager, who is already in Hong Kong and hold a working visa.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small community but to make a huge impact. You will have the opportunity to take on a broad scope beyond pure administration and assist the Board with projects and initiatives.

Worth mentioning, with the right candidate, this role could be further developed.
