Hello Everyone,

Hope that you managed to stay warm throughout the coldest and driest month in Hong Kong. February will bring warmer days and the celebrations of the New Year: the Year of the Dragon.

We hope your business is off to a good start in the new year - if not; it is time to book a dragon dance, arrange a suckling pig ceremony, and maybe visit the local temple to turn around your luck for the year. A new year staff party will help motivate the staff to perform at their very best as well.

For yourself and your family, I can recommend watching the New Year Parade on February 10th. in TST. It starts at 6 PM, with the main parade at 8 PM. We also enjoyed visiting the lantern display in Victoria Park, the flower markets, and the temples during the celebration days in Hong Kong.

A special thanks to our corporate member Modern Terminals, for hosting a visit in January for the Danish students visiting Hong Kong. Sharing is caring!

Wednesday January 24. 11 people joined our After Work Cocktail at DiVino Patio in Wanchai, a nice place for delicious food and drinks. It was good to see both old members and new faces joining our event and supporting the Danish community.

During 2024 we plan to organize After Work Cocktails or other social gathering one time per month. Hope to see more members and friends of the Danish community.

We will post info about these events on DCC website, our Facebook site and in the monthly Newsletters.

Next event will be After Work Cocktails on February 29.

Thursday January 25. our corporate member Modern Terminals hosted 15 exchange students from Copenhagen Business School. The exchange program with HK PolyU is part of CBS’s Bachelor in International Shipping and Trade. Students had an educational experience at the Port of Hong Kong and many thanks to Modern Terminals for hosting the future talents of international shipping.
