Dear Subscriber,
Greetings from the Chairman
Greetings from the Chairman
Hello everyone!

And welcome to March! Q1 is almost over, and everyone is most likely busy executing the plans that were budgeted and agreed upon in Q4 2024.

A lot has changed since Q4, and if business was not already complex, the political debate has made it to the boardroom agenda, where everyone is trying to guess where we will end up and how it will impact the various business sectors.

For the past two weeks, I have been attending global tradeshows in Germany and the UAE, and the geopolitical landscape has been a hot topic. Meeting people from all over the world at these tradeshows is always a very pleasant exchange as we all follow the same ingrained value set - no matter where we come from: kindness, respect, honesty, integrity, equality, accountability, hard work, and perseverance. It is so refreshing, and it makes me hopeful that we all have more in common than what divides us.

March is International Women's Month; we recommend you sign up for the networking workshop below on March 6.

Also, keep your calendar handy. Below are the dates for our AGM, Padel Event #2, and Easter Lunch with a special guest from Denmark.

Have a great month of March - we hope to see you.

On behalf of the Danish Chamber of Commerce,

Yours.

Anita

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA Network), with the support of The European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the EWMD Network, invites you to a thought-provoking evening under the hashtag
#StoriesWeTell series marking International Women’s Day 2025.

This initiative fosters dialogue on the power of language in shaping business environments and inclusion. With engagement from various professional communities, the series brings together diverse voices to challenge existing narratives, break barriers, and contribute to a workplace culture where everyone belongs.

Event Focus: ‘Stories We Tell: “Don’t think of an elephant” and “Have You Had Your Lunch?'
Language matters. The words we choose shape our reality, influence our impact, and define who is heard. In business and leadership, framing is everything—yet real meaning operates at a subconscious level. What are the dominant narratives in today’s corporate world, and who controls them? How do cultural and gender perspectives shape the way we communicate?

Why Attend?
🔹 Explore how language and framing affect leadership, decision-making, and inclusion.
🔹 Understand how cross-cultural narratives influence workplace dynamics and communication.
🔹 Engage in an interactive dialogue on how to redefine stories for greater impact and elevate diverse voices.
