And just like that - the last month of the year is here: December. For the first year in 3 years, the social calendar is back in full force as we try to manage the events and activities for the month.
Quite a balance act - but one that I have been looking forward to, as we re-connect with friends and family this month. Time is precious, and sharing it with others is a gift.
Sharing a good time together, is exactly what we will do on Saturday as we dress up for the annual Christmas Party. The event committee has gone above and beyond to make this a great evening and we look forward to seeing our community (on the dance floor).
Adding value: The plans for 2023 are in the making and with that a new initiative is to try to match students/talents from universities in Denmark and Hong Kong with our members in order to share corporate insights and experiences. This can happen via corporate visits or internships. If you are a corporate member, please sign up via the link below in the 'Job & Career' Section.

| Today you will receive a notification e-mail reminding you that it is time to renew the DCC Membership for 2023.
At the November board meeting the board of directors reviewed the 2023 budget and decided to increase the membership fees for 'Corporate Members', 'Overseas Corporate' and 'Students' with 50HKD per month and one-time registration fee of 100HKD respectively. The other memberships remains at the same price. The new prices are reflected in the reminders sent out this morning. The chamber is budgeted to run as a non-profit.
Membership Fees for 2023: - Individual: 900 HKD
- Overseas Individual: 450 HKD
- Corporate: 4,500 HKD
- Overseas Corporate: 2,250 HKD
- Young Professional: 500 HKD
- Student: 100 HKD

| While our Danish boys did not deliver what we had hoped for, we did have a good time in the Danish Room enjoying cold beers from Carlsberg, Pork Roast sandwiches and hotdogs from Danish Crown while cheering for Denmark.

"The Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is hosting the annual Finnish Independence Day Gala Dinner. The Event is the biggest and most anticipated event of the year. Celebrate Finland Gala this time in honor of Finland's 105 years of independence. The Annual Gala Dinner will be held at The Mira Hotel, on 10 December 2022."

| This fall/winter we had more than 70 students from Denmark on various exchange programs and the Danish Chamber of Commerce would like to help facilitate contact between our corporate members and visiting/local students with the purpose of creating corporate visits and exploring internship opportunities for Summer 2023.
We hope that this initiative will become a stable initiative with benefits for students and our corporate members.
