Dear Subscriber,
Greetings from the Chairman
Greetings from the Chairman
And just like that.....June is here!

We know that many of our members and families are currently travelling and I am also finding myself on an extraordinary long summer holiday in Scandinavia compensating for two years with none.

Therefore it was also welcomed that the travel restrictions have been further relaxed making it easier to accomodate a journey from Denmark to Hong Kong. We have updated our DCC Travel Guide One Pager and are very happy with the positive feedback we have received on the same. Read about the latest updates below.

If you do find yourself in Hong Kong in June, we recommend that you join our annual junk trip. You can register via the link below.

I would also recommend that you stop by the Danish Seamen's Church and stock up on Danish delicacies and if you are not up for cooking yourself, you can have a Scandinavian meal at 'Hjem' in Sai Yin Pun.

Lastly, the art scene in Hong Kong is worth exploring. More than 25 art exhibitions and events in June. See more on the website of the Hong Kong tourism board here.

We also have webinars planned with Danish Chinese Business Forum and Danish Chamber of Commerce, China and InvestHK has invited all members to join the Shandong Symposium as well.

I wish you all a great summer.

Yours,

Anita

Inbound travel to Hong Kong from Denmark
As per Government Press Release on May 29th, the inbound travel requirements will further relax. As some airline frontline staff may not be aware of this change, we advise to bring the link of the press release as well.

  • ISO15189 Certification no longer required. A test from a laboratory or health care provider is sufficient.
  • Children below 3 years old are no longer required to test pre-flight.

We have updated the DCC Travel Guide One Pager to reflect the same. As there can be last minute changes always check the embedded links in detail to avoid any surprises on your trip.
