Greetings from the Chairman - Happy New Year!
Greetings from the Chairman - Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Everyone!

Hope that you have entered 2022 in good health and spirit. Personally, I have enjoyed quality time with family and friends, feeling energized and ready to tackle what 2022 will bring. Bring it on!

Looks like 2022, will be another year of navigating a tough business landscape in the wake of Covid restrictions. As a commercial chamber, business and business networking is of course at the heart of what we do, but we also care about our Danish community in Hong Kong.

So for all our members: Individual or corporate - feel free to get in touch if you think that the Danish Chamber of Commerce could be helpful in any way. Within our network we would be happy to connect or facilitate to connect. Might require some creativity - but if we put our minds together we can accomplish more than we can alone.

Below, please read more news and updates from the Chamber. We will release our 2022 calendar soon to all paid members and hope that we will indeed be able to see you all soon.

Yours,

Anita

GLOBE Program - working experience to future global leaders
GLOBE Program - working experience to future global leaders
In support of strengthening the relationship between Denmark and Hong Kong and to promote Hong Kong’s unique and exciting business environment to future leaders and help develop talents, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (DCC) will work with DCC member companies to provide interested Danish students under the GLOBE Program [a collaboration between The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Copenhagen Business School (CBS), and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) which offers a unique global business curriculum to prepare undergraduate students for a future career as global managers] with an opportunity for employment in Hong Kong.

Danish students can gain first-hand work experience in real-life business settings and exposure to Asian/Chinese business culture in Hong Kong, popularly known as Asia’s World City, while working at a Danish affiliated company operating in international markets.

DCC will be hosting a match-making session in Q1 2022 where interested member companies and students can meet and greet. More information to come at a later stage.
